Google Play Best of 2023 Celebrates Top Apps and Games in India

Google Play has unveiled its Best of 2023 list, recognizing the top apps and games on the Play Store in India. The awards highlight apps focusing on personal growth, mental health, self-care, and online shopping. Level SuperMind, an app emphasizing optimal mind performance, was named Google Play’s Best App of the year, while THAP: Your Happiness Gym received the User’s Choice App of 2023. Monopoly Go! claimed Best Game of the year, with Subway Surfers Blast winning the User’s Choice award in the gaming category.

Notable winners include Stimuler and SwiftChat for Best with AI, Threads for Best for Fun, and Autism BASICS for Best App(s) for Good. Awards were also given for larger screens and wearables, with WhatsApp and Audible receiving the Best for Watches award. The Best Made in India award went to SuperGaming’s Battle Stars, and various multiplayer, story, indie, ongoing, and multi-device games were recognized, showcasing the diversity and innovation in the Indian app and gaming ecosystem.
