Instagram Creator Marketplace Expands to India as Meta Tests AI-Powered Creator Recommendations

Meta has announced the expansion of the Instagram Creator Marketplace to eight new regions, including India. Initially launched in the US, this platform facilitates brand collaboration with content creators for branded content and partnership ads. Instagram users creating content can now build portfolios, indicating brands or interests they are interested in. The expansion includes Australia, Brazil, Canada, India, Japan, New Zealand, and the UK, inviting creators and brands from these regions to access the platform in the coming weeks.

On the Instagram Creator Marketplace, brands gain insights into creators’ follower count, engagement metrics, and audience demographics. The platform allows brands to filter creators based on various criteria such as gender, age, followers, countries, interests, and portfolios. Brands can bookmark or message creators directly through the platform. Meta emphasizes that the entire process, from evaluating branded content requirements to contacting creators, can be managed within the Instagram app. This expansion aims to enhance collaboration opportunities between brands and creators on a global scale.
