Air India Express is launching a new travel route to ease the journey for expatriate Malayalees with a new service connecting Thiruvananthapuram and Riyadh. The route, starting on September 9, will operate flights every Monday. Flight IX 522 will depart from Thiruvananthapuram at 5:55 PM and arrive at Riyadh King Khalid Airport at 10:40 PM. The return flight will leave Riyadh at 11:40 PM and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 7:30 AM the following day.
In addition to this, Oman’s budget airline Salam Air is expanding its services to India with new low-budget routes. Starting September 2, Salam Air will offer four weekly flights to Mumbai and, beginning September 6, two weekly flights to Bengaluru.
