During his stay, which concludes tomorrow, PM Modi will engage in high-level discussions with Kuwaiti leaders, including the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and the Crown Prince, Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
This visit aims to deepen the ties between India and Kuwait in critical sectors such as defense, trade, and energy. PM Modi’s itinerary includes an address to the Indian community, the largest expatriate group in Kuwait, and a visit to Indian labor camps. His engagement with the Indian diaspora underscores the significant role they play in strengthening bilateral relations.
PM Modi is also scheduled to attend the Gulf Cup football tournament’s opening ceremony and a special banquet hosted by Kuwait’s Crown Prince, showcasing the importance of cultural and diplomatic exchange.
