
The SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) and Plus Two (Higher Secondary) examinations in Kerala will commence tomorrow, March 3. The SSLC exams will be held from 9:30 am to 11:45 am, while the Higher Secondary exams will take place in the afternoon.
A total of 425,861 students are set to appear for the SSLC exams across 2,964 centers in Kerala, with 682 students at seven centers in the Gulf region and 447 students at nine centers in Lakshadweep. For smooth conduct, 26,382 teachers have been appointed as invigilators.
The evaluation process for SSLC exams will begin on April 3 and conclude by April 26, with 72 evaluation camps set up across the state. Approximately 9,500 examiners, including 950 chief examiners, will be involved in the evaluation. The results are expected to be announced by the third week of May.
For the Higher Secondary exams, the second-year examinations will be held from 1:30 pm to 4:15 pm, with biology exams scheduled from 2:00 pm to 4:25 pm and music exams from 1:30 pm to 3:15 pm. These exams will conclude on March 26. Meanwhile, the first-year Higher Secondary exams will begin on March 6 and end on March 29.
The Kerala government has made extensive arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of these crucial examinations, which are a significant milestone for students across the state and beyond.
