Actress Revathi has firmly denied the recent allegations that director Ranjith sent her nude pictures of a young man. The actress addressed the rumors that have been circulating in the media, stating that she has not received any such images and sees no need to further respond to the issue.
These allegations stem from a complaint filed by a young man who accused director Ranjith of sexually assaulting him in a hotel room. The man claimed that after an evening of drinking, Ranjith made inappropriate comments about his appearance and then proceeded to sexually assault him multiple times while he was in a semi-inebriated state. According to the complainant, Ranjith promised him opportunities in the film industry, which led the young man to endure the harassment.
The man further alleged that Ranjith took nude photographs of him and sent them to a Malayalam film actress, whom he believed to be Revathi. The following morning, Ranjith reportedly offered the young man money, which he declined, expressing instead his desire for film roles as initially promised. However, when he attempted to follow up with Ranjith, he found that his calls were blocked. The young man also mentioned that he had informed a prominent actress about the incident, but she did not respond.
Revathi, in her response to the national media, clarified that she had no involvement in the situation and had not received any such photographs from Ranjith.
