Vishu Holiday Travel: Kerala and Karnataka RTCs Open Booking Window Today

How to Book Bus Tickets for Vishu and Easter Seasons

The Kerala and Karnataka State Road Transport Corporations (RTCs) will open their ticket booking window today for the upcoming Vishu holiday season. Bookings for bus services starting from April 9 will be available in the initial phase. While Vishu falls on April 14, tickets for travel between April 10 and 13 are expected to be in high demand. Additionally, bookings for the Easter season will commence next week.

With regular train tickets to Kerala already sold out for the Vishu-Easter period, both RTCs may introduce special bus services once regular bus tickets are fully booked. To reserve seats, passengers can visit the Kerala RTC booking page [here](insert link) and the Karnataka RTC booking page [here](insert link).

Special Train for Attukal Pongala?
Malayali rail travelers are hopeful that the Railways will announce a special train for the Attukal Pongala festival on March 13. Last year, a special train from Bayyapanahalli to Thiruvananthapuram North (Kochuveli) ran with empty seats due to unscientific scheduling and last-minute announcements. Passengers are urging better planning to ensure the success of such services this year.

As the Vishu and Easter holidays approach, travelers are advised to book their tickets early to avoid last-minute hassles. With high demand expected for both bus and train services, planning ahead is crucial. Stay updated on announcements for special buses or trains, and make the most of the festive season with a smooth and enjoyable travel experience.

Plan your Vishu and Easter travels early to secure your seats and enjoy a hassle-free journey!
