Security researchers at Bitdefender have warned that cybercriminals are attempting to steal financial and personal information through deceptive messages that impersonate Netflix.
The scam employs two tactics:

Offering Rewards: Fake promises of prizes or special benefits lure unsuspecting users.

“NETFLIX: There was an issue processing your payment. To keep your services active, please sign in and confirm your details at: https://account-details[.]com.”
“NETFLIX: Your recent payment failed. Confirm your details at 78hex4w[.]vitilme[.]info.”
These messages contain malicious links redirecting users to counterfeit Netflix login pages, where login credentials, personal information, and credit card details are harvested.

Suspicious Links: Links with generic or poorly written messages are red flags.
