Indonesia is now offering a convenient e-Visa on Arrival (e-Voa) facility for Indian passport holders, making it easier than ever to visit popular destinations like Bali, Jakarta, and Komodo Park. This new initiative is part of Indonesia’s ambitious tourism goal to attract 14 million tourists by 2025. The e-Voa system allows travelers to apply, pay, and secure a pre-approved visa online before departing for their trip.
To apply for the e-Voa, travelers must visit Indonesia’s official e-visa website, complete the application by entering personal details, upload necessary documents, and make the required payment. Once approved, travelers can download their visa, which will grant them a single entry for a stay of up to 90 days for tourism, business, or transit purposes.
The e-Voa costs around 500,000 IDR (approximately INR 2,646), and applicants must ensure their passports are valid for at least six months from the arrival date, along with a recent photograph and proof of return or onward travel.
With Bali’s idyllic beaches and rich cultural experiences, along with the convenience of this new visa process, now is the perfect time for Indian travelers to plan their Indonesian getaway. The months between April and October are ideal for visiting, as they offer pleasant weather and fewer crowds.
