
Southern Railway has announced special train services to accommodate the increased passenger demand during the Onam festival season. The special train, named the Ernakulam Jn – Yelahanka Jn Garibrath Superfast Tri-Weekly Special Express (Train Nos. 06101/06102), is scheduled to operate on September 4th and 6th from Ernakulam Junction and will reach Yelahanka Junction on the same day.
The train (06101) will depart from Ernakulam Junction at 12:40 pm and arrive at Yelahanka Junction at 11:00 pm. On its return journey (06102), the train will leave Yelahanka at 5:00 am on September 5th and 7th and will reach Ernakulam Junction by 2:20 pm the same day.
The train is equipped with two AC two-tier coaches, nine AC three-tier coaches, and two power car cum brake vans, providing ample accommodation for travelers.
