Audi India to Implement Price Hike of Up to 3% from January 2025

Increased Input and Transportation Costs Drive Luxury Carmaker's Decision

Audi India has announced a price increase of up to 3% across its entire model lineup, effective January 1, 2025. This adjustment comes in response to escalating input and transportation costs. The German luxury carmaker emphasized that the move is necessary to ensure sustainable growth for the brand and its dealership network.

Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, stated, “The price adjustment effective from January 1, 2025, is essential to offset rising input costs. We remain committed to minimizing the impact on our customers while ensuring steady growth for our operations and dealer partners.”

Audi’s extensive portfolio in India includes models such as the A4, A6, Q3, Q3 Sportback, Q5, Q7, Q8, RS5 Sportback, RS Q8, and several electric vehicles like the Q8 e-tron and RS e-tron GT. Among recent launches, the facelifted Audi Q7 has garnered attention, with prices starting at ₹88.66 lakh (ex-showroom). The revamped SUV boasts updates like a redesigned grille, advanced LED headlights with customizable light signatures, OLED taillights, and piano black accents on functional air intakes.

Under the hood, the Q7 features a robust 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 petrol engine delivering 340 hp and 500 Nm of torque. Paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and Audi’s Quattro AWD system, the SUV offers seven driving modes, including Off-Road and Efficiency. Additionally, its 48V mild-hybrid technology enhances fuel efficiency by turning off the engine for up to 40 seconds during coasting.

The price hike, combined with Audi’s continuous innovation, underscores the brand’s commitment to quality while adapting to economic challenges.
