Toyota Kirloskar Motor is gearing up to launch the much-anticipated 2025 Toyota Camry in India on December 11, 2024. Entering its 9th generation, the all-new Camry brings a refreshed design, upgraded interiors, enhanced safety features, and a powerful petrol-hybrid engine. Set to be priced from approximately ₹48 lakh (ex-showroom), the sedan will arrive as a Completely Knocked Down (CKD) unit, with deliveries commencing in early 2025.
Built on Toyota’s TNGA-K platform, the same foundation shared by models like the Lexus ES and RX, the new Camry retains its reliable 2.5-litre four-cylinder hybrid petrol engine. This engine delivers a combined output of 218 PS and 221 Nm of torque, complemented by a PMSM electric motor paired with a Nickel-metal hydride battery. Coupled with an eCVT gearbox, the new Camry promises improved fuel efficiency while maintaining its smooth, responsive drive.
The exterior showcases a sleeker design, featuring redesigned headlamps, a honeycomb-patterned grille, and a more sloped roofline for a modern appeal. The rear boasts subtle updates, including refreshed tail lamps and a revamped bumper. While its dimensions remain largely unchanged, the Camry gains slightly in length compared to its predecessor.
Inside, the 2025 Camry offers an all-new interior layout inspired by Toyota’s global design language. Luxurious features include a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch floating infotainment system, a JBL nine-speaker audio setup, and ventilated front seats. Additional highlights include wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a 360-degree camera, dual-zone climate control, a HUD display, and a panoramic sunroof, ensuring an elevated driving experience.
