Gold and Silver Prices See a Decline on September 3, 2024

On September 3, 2024, gold and silver prices saw a decline across the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) and major cities in India, reflecting broader market trends. Gold futures on the MCX dropped to Rs 71,512 per 10 grams, marking a decrease of Rs 89 or 0.12% from the previous close of Rs 71,601. Silver futures also fell, trading at Rs 84,290 per kilogram, down by Rs 264 or 0.31% compared to the previous close of Rs 84,554.

In Delhi, the price of gold decreased to Rs 73,299 per 10 grams, a decline from Rs 73,901 the previous day. Meanwhile, in Mumbai, gold prices rose slightly to Rs 73,799 per 10 grams, although they remain lower than last week’s rate of Rs 73,987.

Silver prices also experienced a dip in both cities. In Delhi, silver prices fell to Rs 82,950 per kilogram, down from Rs 85,190 the previous day and Rs 86,220 last week. Similarly, in Mumbai, silver prices dropped to Rs 82,950 per kilogram, a decrease from Rs 85,190 yesterday and Rs 86,220 a week earlier.
