Crucial CBSE Updates Students and Parents Must Know

Here are the latest updates issued by CBSE that every student and parent should know about. From the introduction of the APAAR ID for academic records to stricter exam regulations, staying informed is crucial. For more details, visit the official CBSE website: CBSE Official Website.

APAAR ID: Revolutionizing Academic Records

The Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR) ID is a unique 12-digit number that allows students to digitally store and access their academic records. Linked with the DigiLocker system, this ID consolidates certificates, mark sheets, and extracurricular achievements in one place.

Schools will host PTA meetings to guide students, especially those in Classes 9 to 12, on obtaining their APAAR IDs. For more information, visit APAAR Official Website or call the helpline at 1800-889-3511.

Updated Examination Guidelines

CBSE has introduced strict rules to ensure fair examinations:

Prohibited Items: Any tools for cheating, including chits, smartwatches, mobile phones, and earphones, are banned. Food items (except for diabetic patients) are also restricted.

Uniform Policy: Regular students must wear their school uniforms, while private candidates should opt for simple clothing.

CCTV Surveillance: Examination halls will be monitored to ensure compliance.

Answer Sheet Usage: Students must use only the provided sheets and refrain from damaging or altering printed information.

Additionally, uploading question papers or related materials on social media is strictly prohibited, and impersonation will lead to severe consequences. Fake photographs on admit cards will not be accepted.

By adhering to these updates, students and parents can ensure smooth academic and examination processes under CBSE’s revised guidelines.
