The entrance examinations for Engineering and Pharmacy courses have commenced today, April 23, and will continue through April 29. A total of 138 examination centres have been set up to accommodate the large number of candidates, covering all districts and extending to major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, and even Dubai.
This year, 97,759 students have registered for the Engineering entrance test, while 46,107 candidates will be appearing for the Pharmacy exams. The Engineering examinations are scheduled for April 23, 25, 26, 27, and 28, with each session running from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Pharmacy candidates will take their exams on April 24 in two separate slots—11:30 AM to 1:00 PM and 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM—and on April 29 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
Candidates are advised to arrive at the test centres at least two hours prior to the start of their exam. A 15-minute mock test will be conducted before each session to help students get familiar with the format. Strict regulations will be enforced during the exams; any form of malpractice, including non-verbal communication or signals between candidates, will result in immediate disqualification.
Additionally, examinees are strictly prohibited from bringing items like pencils, erasers, loose paper, calculators, digital watches, or cameras into the examination hall. These measures have been implemented to ensure a fair and disciplined testing environment for all participants.
