
State Bank of India (SBI) has announced a significant recruitment drive for the position of Circle Based Officer (CBO) in 2025, offering a total of 2,964 vacancies across multiple circles including Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates aspiring to build a career in the banking sector. Out of these vacancies, 2,600 are fresh openings while 364 are backlog vacancies. Candidates holding a graduation degree in any discipline or equivalent qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, CA, CMA, etc., with a minimum of two years’ experience at the officer level in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank, are eligible to apply.
Applicants must be between 21 and 30 years old, with age relaxations available for reserved categories. The selected candidates will receive a basic salary starting at ₹48,480, with the total pay scale reaching up to ₹85,920, including allowances. Those with more than two years of experience will also receive an increment.
The selection process includes a two-stage written exam covering subjects like English, Banking Awareness, General Awareness, and Computer Aptitude, followed by a descriptive test focused on English letter and report writing. An interview will be conducted to finalize the selection.
