On the eve of his inauguration as the 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump promised his supporters that he would end the ongoing war in Ukraine, resolve chaos in the Middle East, and prevent the onset of World War 3. Speaking at a victory rally in Washington DC, Trump previewed some of the sweeping measures he plans to implement on his first day in office, though he did not go into detail.
In his speech, Trump confidently declared, “I will end the war in Ukraine,” emphasizing the urgency of addressing global conflicts. He also vowed to restore stability in the Middle East and to prevent any further escalation that could lead to global war. While the United States has been a key supporter of Ukraine in its resistance against Russia, Trump’s statement appeared to prioritize swift action to end the war, potentially limiting Ukraine’s autonomy in the decision-making process for peace.
In addition to foreign policy promises, Trump reiterated his commitment to aggressive immigration reform, declaring that he would work towards the most extensive border security measures the world has seen. He also vowed to cut climate regulations, boost oil exploration, promote American businesses, and reduce government bureaucracy. Trump further announced that he would release classified records related to major political assassinations to bring transparency to the public.
