Apple iPhone 17 Air: The Slimmest iPhone Yet, with Major Upgrades

Apple's Upcoming iPhone 17 Air to Offer Sleeker Design, Enhanced Performance, and Powerful Camera Features

The tech world is abuzz with the upcoming iPhone 17 series, and one of its most exciting new models, the iPhone 17 Air, is expected to be the thinnest iPhone ever made. According to reports, including insights from analyst Jeff Pu, the iPhone 17 Air could have a slim profile of approximately 6mm, making it significantly thinner than the current record-holder, the iPhone 6, which is 6.9mm thick. This thinner design is about 25% slimmer than the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models, marking a bold step in Apple’s design philosophy.

Along with its sleek design, the iPhone 17 Air will feature a larger, 6.6-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, enhancing the user experience with vibrant colours and sharper contrasts. Additionally, the device will offer a 120Hz refresh rate, providing smoother scrolling and responsiveness. On the photography front, leaks suggest that the iPhone 17 Air will come equipped with a 48-megapixel main camera, delivering high-quality photos, while a 24-megapixel front camera will enhance selfies and video calls.

The iPhone 17 Air will be powered by Apple’s A19 chip, built with advanced 3nm technology, offering faster processing speeds and improved energy efficiency. Expected to launch in September 2025, the iPhone 17 Air will surely set new standards for sleekness and performance in the smartphone market.
