As per the report, women seek emotional attachment more than men.

According to a new study, 73 per cent of women prioritise emotional attachment over 55 per cent of men when it comes to online dating.

According to a survey by dating platform QuackQuack, the majority of users are looking for emotional attachment rather than a physical connection, indicating that people are going beyond casual dating and seeking an emotional connection.

People in the 21-30 age bracket, as well as those over the age of 31, prefer to meet in person because they want to build genuine connections.

According to the survey, 46% of young people (under the age of 20) choose virtual dating.

The majority of people believe that a virtual date is insufficient to choose a mate and that they would like to meet their date in person.

“The dating habits of millennials and Generation Z have changed, especially since the emergence of online dating and the pandemic. Some typical dating trends include having longer chat discussions and meeting over a movie/series or Netflix “In a statement, QuackQuack’s founder, Ravi Mittal, remarked.

Furthermore, the survey reveals what people find the most irritating about talking to someone on a dating app, with the majority agreeing that “not getting a response from the person you expected” is the most annoying part.

In addition, 76 per cent of men and 57 per cent of women believe that meeting new people is the greatest method to get over toxic relationships among online daters.

According to QuackQuack, there are over 12 million Indian users.
