The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is expected to announce the Civil Services Preliminary Examination (CSE) Result 2025 by the second week of June. In comparison, the official date and time are yet to be confirmed. Typically, UPSC announces the Prelims results within 15 days of conducting the examination. In 2024, the exam was held on June 16, and the results were released on July 1.
Similarly, in 2023, the exam took place on May 28, with results announced on June 12. Based on this pattern, the UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2025 is expected to be released around June 14. The UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 was held on May 25 (Sunday) in two shifts of two hours each. Candidates can also download the GS Paper 1 and GS Paper 2 PDFs from the official website – upsc.gov.in.
Those who qualify in the prelims will be eligible to appear in the UPSC CSE Mains 2025. The Commission is scheduled to conduct the UPSC CSE Main 2025 on August 28. UPSC will open the application portal for the CSE Main exam once the UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 result is declared. The Commission will release the detailed notification for UPSC CSE Main 2025 on the official websites – upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in.
Meanwhile, the UPSC Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination 2025 is scheduled for June 8. Candidates can download their UPSC ESE Prelims Admit Card 2025 from upsconline.gov.in.
