Galaxy Active 2 : The brand new smart watch of Samsung to launch in India on August 5
Samsung’s smartwatch Galaxy Active 2 to launch on August 5. A photo has leaked from Samsung shows the first glimpse of Galaxy Watch Active 2. But it has an uncanny resemblance with Apple Watch 4.
It was quickly noticed by tech enthusiasts that the image showed two watch faces. One of them had a petal-like design and another with a tapestry of times, dates and other readings. That looked more like the Apple Watch.
Specifications
Galaxy Watch Active 2 is expected to come with 4GB of memory and fitness features in Apple-inspired rose-gold and black colour schemes.It will have a 1.2-inch AMOLED display, 40mm and 44mm size options, and a touch-sensitive frame that’ll mimic the functionality of the rotating bezel found on the Galaxy Watch.
The watch will to have Bluetooth 5.0 on board, an ECG, fall detection, 768MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, the Exynos 9110 chipset.
The smaller model has a 247 mAh battery, the larger one goes to 340 mAh.
The wearable is expected to be offered both in Wi-Fi-only and LTE variants. Gorilla Glass will be on the screen for protection. The Watch Active 2 is apparently MIL-STD 810G certified and has 5ATM water resistance.
